A Merchant and Farmers Market ParkerFest will stretch across 3 blocks in Old Town Parker and will have something for everyone! ParkerFest welcomes all vendors from prepared food, produce, flowers, arts, crafts and more. Vendors will be accompanied by phenomenal entertainment from The Parker Arts Council and Inspire Creative. ParkerFest will also bring weekly special events, chef demonstrations, and a Kids Zone to downtown to ensure there is always something to see and do! This is definitely an EVENT!

Just west of downtown this Farmers Market will be the only market in Northwest Denver and is easily accessible from downtown, Sloans Lake, Sunny Side and the Highlands. A neighborhood that is committed to supporting local businesses and leading sustainable lifestyles the neighbors have been eagerly awaiting a Market. The Farmers Market will be on the 1500 block of Boulder street in front of well-known local restaurants Vita, Lola and Shangri-La, the merchants and the restaurants bring a great Saturday morning crowd and with the addition of the HUNI Farmers Market this will be the place to be on Saturday mornings.

With a continued increase in neighborhood involvement and special events including the Pet Fair, Green Fair and Health Fair the Old South Pearl Street Market is stronger than ever. This market has a great atmosphere and is in the center of a beautiful historic Denver neighborhood. This is Colorado growers only market with a strong emphasis on food, flowers, and produce.

Let Freedom Sing / Red, White & Brew Music Festival
July 4th, Noon - 8pm
O'Brien Park off Parker Road and Main Street in Parker
The 2009 “Let Freedom Sing / Red, White and Brew Music Festival” is taking the 4th of July celebration to another level. The Town of Parker is partnering with the DDC (Downtown Development Council) to create a bigger and better event. The DDC will be bringing in arts and craft vendors and a beer garden. Patrons can enjoy live music, children’s inflatable fun, and a wide array of food offerings, delectable desserts and ice cold concoctions. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and grab your friends and family for a night of good old fashioned fun!

The Old South Pearl Street Music Festivals offer renowned national musicians, a wide selection of local microbrews, and food to please any palate. The 1200 block of Old South Pearl Street is just a hop, skip and a jump west from the Louisiana/Pearl light rail station. Take the RTD light rail in to enjoy great brews from the likes of New Belgium Brewery, Left Hand, Deschutes and many more as you hear some of the best music around for just 5 bucks.
Son of blues legend, singer John Lee Hooker, Jr. and New Orleans piano legend, Henry Butler will be headlining this year's Blues & Brews, an unforgettable night of top national and local Blues musicians including performances from The Informants, Eddie Turner Band, Bluesz Hause Band, Lionel Young Band, The Delta Sonics and Joe Price.

Colorado Dragon Boat Festival
July 25th & 26th

Called the “Best New Festival” by Westword in 2001 and “Best City Festival” in 2003 by The Rocky Mountain News the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival has grown to become one of the largest festivals in Denver with over 100,000 participants across two days. A Pan-Asian event celebrating all Asian American and Pacific-Islander Cultures Dragon Boat offers an array of activities for participants including dragon boat racing, an entertainment stage featuring Asian Pacific American groups & performances and a marketplace with culturally inspired foods, crafts, arts and information from local businesses.
